Art is Mary Katherine’s passion – everything from painting to jewelry, to home décor. Which is one of the reasons she and her husband Thomas (an executive chef) were drawn to a unique fusion of design and food.
Mary Katherine is originally from Virginia and graduated from Longwood University in 1993. She taught elementary and middle school art before becoming a stay at home Mom. Through the years she has continued to paint and do other crafts and loves to host art drop-ins from time to time.
Thomas grew up in New Orleans where he worked from a young age with his father in various restaurants in Metairie. After relocating to South Carolina in the early 1990's, he worked at various restaurants and was Executive Chef at The Faculty House as well as The Palmetto Club.
